Privacy Policy

Last updated October 26, 2026

Dyess Software does not collect, store, or share any personal data from the people who use our apps. This policy applies to our iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps, including Sleep Sounds, Sleep Songs, their Lite versions, and InjuryKeeper.

Data we collect

None. Our apps do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, usage data, or any other information. They contain no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking tools. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Data on your device

Your settings, favorites, and saved sound mixes stay on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, Apple may sync them between your own devices using iCloud. That data is kept in your iCloud account, is managed by Apple, and is not available to us.

InjuryKeeper

InjuryKeeper is a record-keeping app for injury claims. Everything you enter, including claims, entries, photos, files, contacts, reminders, injuries, and settings, is stored on your device. We have no server and no account system, and we cannot see your records.

iCloud sync is optional and off by default. If you turn it on (at first launch or later in Settings), your records are copied to your own private iCloud account so they appear on your other devices. That data is held by Apple under your Apple Account and Apple's terms. It is not sent to us or to any other company. You can turn sync off at any time in Settings.

Text on prescription labels, receipts, bills, and letters is recognized on your device with Apple's text recognition, and dictation uses on-device speech recognition only. Pictures, text, and audio are not uploaded.

InjuryKeeper asks for permission only when you use a feature: the camera (to take a photo or scan a document), your photo library (only the photos you pick), the microphone and speech recognition (dictation), notifications (reminders), and Face ID (app lock). Choosing a person from Contacts uses Apple's contact picker, which does not give the app access to your address book.

When you export a report, backup, or spreadsheet, or share one by email, Messages, or another app, the file goes where you send it. You can protect a PDF report with a password, but backups and spreadsheets are not encrypted by InjuryKeeper, so share them only with people you trust, such as your attorney or doctor.

InjuryKeeper is a personal record. It is not a healthcare provider, insurer, or law firm, and it is not legal, medical, or insurance advice. Because we never receive your records, we do not act as a covered entity or handle your health information.

Purchases

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment information.

Messages you send us

If you use the contact form on this website or email us, we receive the name, email address, and message you choose to send, and we use it only to reply to you.

Children

Because our apps do not collect any data, they collect no personal information from children either. InjuryKeeper is not directed to children under 13.
